My carbon monoxide detector is new. It is now blinking green every few seconds. Is there a problerm?

I'll bet your flapper is leaking. You should hear your water turn on and off as the water leaks out of the tank and down into the toilet. When the tank gets too low it lets in water to fill the tank and then it leaks out again.

There are some very good flappers to buy. They have the flapper and it falls down into its own seat and there is a gummy substance you stick around the hole where the water goes down in the tank. Then you fix up the chain to the handle so it will flush properly and you are fixed for about $8.

The trick is you must get all the water out of your tank and the area where you are going to stick that gummy stuff must be absolutely dry. Usually you fish out the last of the water in the tank and then hit that area with a hair dryer, then stick on the contraption. Go to a DIY store and talk to them but don't let them sell you just a plain flapper.

The replacements very seldom work right or wear out quickly. Pay the few dollars more for a better contraption.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
