My cat has been sick for about 3 months now, I work at a vet so I have been taking him there but they have no clue whats going on. He did eat some sort of strap but did pass it and ever since he has lost weight and cannot seem to put any weight back on. Also today we just found out he is blind in one of his eyes.

He is not even a year old and I just want some answers to whats going on. He has been tested for feline leukemia/FIV and they are negative. Please let me know asap if you can help me.

I do not think he has had an x ray, but a little over a month ago he did an exploatroy on him and all he found was his lymph nodes were pretty swollen. And yesterday they submitted a cbc and found out that he has a very low level of platelets. So now he put him on 15 mg prednisone twice a day.

Maybe its time for another vet to look at him, maybe with fresh eyes a solution can be found.

I use reverse omosis water also.

Reverse osmosis water is from the grocery store...I refill a container...it is about 39cents a gallon. It is filtered twice with carbon...Ultra violet light to disinfect...and sediment is drained off...it is minus Chlorine and fluorine and many more toxic things. My cats don't like tap water which has these things.

They love rainwater from the birdbath. I put it in a glass bowl...plastic has a taste and can also affect health. Tuna has amino acids like taurine that may help eyes...the vegetables/fruit..whole food... in the Iams tan bag may help health...made my kittens thrive...but they also needed tuna.

Flea medicine and deworming medicine almost killed my cats...almost put them into kidney failure. I am trying onlynaturalpet.com now to see if I can get more natural things. My cat was only one also when these medicines hurt him....but the algae in the birdbath must have detoxed him a little.

Also he may have cancer of the hidden places in the body. It is very important to get an overview of the body of his or her and when I mean 100% of the entire body. Also, the cat eating something he really should not have eaten.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
