My daughter just put a magnet on my computer screen, and it messed the color all up, is there any way to fix?

Choose a different theme. If that didn't fix it, go to Services and make sure Themes is running and set to automatic start. Click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services.

Scroll down the list to Themes. Right click and select Properties. Click on Start.

Also, make sure that Startup Type is set to 'Automatic'. Click on Apply. Next, click on Start and type "adjust appearance" (w/o the quotes) and hit Enter.

In the Performance Options, you have 4 choices: 1. Let windows choose what's better for my computer 2. Adjust for best appearance 3.

Adjust for best performance 4. Custom Select either option 1 or 2. Note: If the check on the "Use visual styles on windows and buttons" under Custom is removed, your taskbar will look like old school.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
