My dog has been bitten by a snake. it was over 2mtrs long and black on top with a yellow/pale?

Since you asked this question 12 hours ago, if you dog is OK the snake is not venomous. Identification will depend on where you live as there are a few species which match the description which are specific to different continents. What country, also were you on the beach or inland?

Accdg to your description if it wasn't a red bellied snake...then most likely it's another one. You'd better be sure about it first. Is your dog okay now?(you posted here last 6 weeks ago)If you're from Australia...I think we can help to resolve your question here.

We have numerous venomous and non-venomous snakes out there. Suggested hub for you: hubpages.com/hub/Australian-snake-identific.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
