My favorite game console growing up was the Sega Genesis. What are the three best games made for the system?

I have many favorites in the Genesis. If I have to choose only three it would be: - Phantasy Star 2 - Revenge of Shinobi - Thunder Force 3 There are others that are good too like Herzog Zwei, ESWAT or Shadow Dancer but I guess depends a lot on your personal taste (I mean if you are into platforms, RPGs, shooters, fighting, etc). I personally dislike the ones that made it to the Genesis from the Arcades like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Street Fighter.

Games like those are better to play them in the original arcade (MAME anyone? ) than the Genesis.

There is always the infamous Zero Wing! youtube.com/watch?v=JGHkqmqJC3Y "All your base are belong to us" But one of the games I played a lot was Altered Beast youtube.com/watch?v=hwvkRys93Iw Lastly Phantasy Star II was a great RPG on the system youtube.com/watch?v=mNvUblOOBDM.

The best in my opinion were: Gunstar Heroes Sonic 3 & Sonic and Knuckles combined Vectorman.

There a ton of games for this system and a ton of them were great... here are couple videos about the top 25 and 15. My favorite Genesis games: 1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 youtube.com/watch?v=F1JMD_wwH2M 2. Disney's Alladin youtube.com/watch?v=Er0G3ttS9Cc 3.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist youtube.com/watch?v=p6O1tkZeqDo Bonus or Honorable Mentions: Castlevania: Bloodlines Earthworm Jim 2.

I still have my Sega System! I still love it! My favorite games are Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2!

And Lemmings :).

Ah... this question brings me back... to the early nineties... 3. Comix Zone. There are few things more appealing to the "stereotypical nerd" than video games and comic books, and this game puts them both together.

If you haven't played it, the gameplay is really unique because every level is two pages of a comic book and you have to play through each panel. Comix Zone gameplay: youtube.com/watch?v=azIZwsCGjW0&feature=... 2. Sonic the Hedgehog.

Nintendo Entertainment System is to Super Mario Bros. As Sega Genesis is to Sonic the Hedgehog. Finally, there was an adventure side-scroller at break-neck speed.

For me, this is the game that spawned the real fighting games like Super Smash Bros.(It was also released on NES and SNES, but I strongly prefer the Sega Genesis version, because I found the Sega controller works better for this kind of fighting game.) Sonic the Hedgehog is still the best game ever, just for sheer fun and challenge of it. I was a big fan of Earthworm Jim, simply because of its grossness appeal and the fact that it never got boring. Mega Bomber Man was also a sweet throwback of the original from nintendo.

Finally, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker was really cool when michael jackson was still cool. That game was so much fun!

I don't need to list three because my one game is the Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to the face of all Sega Games... Zero Wing: All Your Base Are Belong To Us!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
