You have to 'acidify' your scalp! You have oily scalp, so you need to not shampoo more than every other day......use lukewarm, NOT hot water, and rinse rinse rinse with lukewarm, then GRADUALLY bring the water up to cool; NOT COLD! This is for all year around....for winter, take plain old apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup, and add 1/2 cup warm water, and pour over your scalp.......do not rinse out!

The smell goes away in a minute or two......the acidity of the vinegar will help to keep your scalp 'moist' for want of a better term! .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
