Elastic always gets attached to the left side (as you sit on your horse). Yes you attach the non-elastic side first on the right side (as you sit on your horse).
I was always taught that the elastic goes on the right (off) side, and you tighten the non-elastic side because otherwise you over tighten the girth. When I notice other people's horses and friends horses, people always seem to do it the same way as I was taught, it's possibly a UK US difference. More recently saddle fitters have advised me not to use elasticated girths because with one side elasticated the saddle moves unevenly, and with both sides elasticated the saddle can bounce to some degree on the horses back.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
