O is not rare... AB- is. "Regular"... no such thing... could be octane? You are either A, B, AB, or O type with an RhD factor of negative or positive.No such things as "Regular".

O blood is not rare. If you are O+ then 37.4% of the US popluation have that type... if you are O- then 6.6% havet that type.In the US the rarest blood type is AB-... only 0.6% of the population have that type. If you were in an accident and needed blood an O- recipient can only take O- blood.

I am AB+... I am a universal recipient.My system can handle blood of any type and it is the only blood type that can take any human blood. I can get a transfusion and the only concern that the medical folks need to make it that they are transfusing from a Human being. In an emergency when you don’t know what blood type the recipient is and you have O- on hand you can give that... anyone can take O-.

O- folks are universal donors.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
