My male pitbull/boxer whom is NOT neutered is humping my female pitbull whom IS spayed? Why?

Testosterone, get him neutered and it will slow down or stop. YOU need to teach him its not acceptable behavior, stop it now before he starts humping peoples legs. Its not cute, and it bugs me when people laugh and think it is.

When he looks like he is going to mount, distract him quickly, loudly and sharply, clap your hands LOUD, say NO loud and sharp, remove him from the room until he calms down. Its up to you to teach him to stop, or one day he may hump a persons leg and get his balls or head kicked in, a LOT of people are extremely offended by it.

My dogs are very well behaved, and I do not think it is ok. BUT he is 7 years old, no taking his balls off : )....My pit is only 2...so thats why she is spayed. But THANKS!

Something for you to look at. He doesn't care if he has balls or not,dogs aren't vain, s testosterone will keep him mounting the female.

You must be out of your mind. Let me tell you something KNOW IT ALL, I work in an animal hospital and have experienced first hand what happens to some older dogs that are neutered or spayed. I would not ever in my life intentionally do something like that knowing he could get sick.

It's a behavioral mechanism for dominance. Neutered females will mount another animal or person and pump as if it is trying to mate like a male. I's DOMINANCE not a sexual response.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
