My memory card filled up-I deleted some pictures, I took more pictures & now I can't retrieve most of my pics. Help! I have a new digital camera.

I took it on vacation. My memory card filled up and so I deleted some of my "not so good" photos. I then continued to take my pictures.

When I went to download them to my computer, only the newer photos downloaded. I can still see my "original" photos, but I cannot get them down to my computer or to print out. Why?

What, if anything, can I do? THANKS! Asked by katbaki 52 months ago Similar questions: memory card filled up I deleted pictures retrieve pics Help Arts > Photography.

Image Recovery Software As long as you have not reformatted your memory card then there's hope by using a recovery program. I use an older program called "Digital Image Recovery" that was simple to use and free. Unfortuntely it is no longer available, it seems as though ZAR is a good program to try, this is a link to a tutorial and download if you want to try it.

1 It's a good thing that you can see the original photos. That means you didn't delete them. How are you trying to download?

By putting the media card in a media card reader, or are you connecting your camera to your computer with a cable? .

3 Could be a problem with the memory card. Especially a SanDisk if that's what you got. But when you hook your camera to your pc with a cable, the computer sees the media card in the camera as another disk drive.

Don't the names of ALL your pics appear when you click on the drive name? And, if they do, what happens when you double click on one of those names? .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
