My Outlook 2007 does not delete messages from the Outgoing box when sent to multiple addresses. Any ideas on a fix?

My Outlook 2007 does not delete messages from the Outgoing box when sent to multiple addresses. Any ideas on a fix? When I send original or forwarded emails to a group of people in my contact list, I see the messages "Sending email" and "Send Complete" at the bottom of my Outlook window but the email does not get removed from the Outbox and stays there until I manually remove it, although, it appears that people do get the message.

If the contacts are "displayed" as "John Doe(jdoe@yahoo.com" rel="nofollow">yahoo.com); Jane Doe(janedoe@google.com)..." for example, this is the behavior. However, if I manually enter all the addresses as: "jdoe@yahoo.com" rel="nofollow">yahoo.com; janedoe@google.com...", then the message is sent and the outbox is emptied correctly. I'm running Vista Home Premium on a new HP a600n computer with 3GB memory and Office Enterprise Edition that includes Outlook 2007.

Any ideas for a fix for this nuisance? Asked by newuser9029064 48 months ago Similar Questions: Outlook 2007 delete messages Outgoing box multiple addresses ideas fix Recent Questions About: Outlook 2007 delete messages Outgoing box multiple addresses ideas fix Computers > Software.

Seriously, there are so many bugs in Outlook 2007. I am very happy to not be using it at the moment office-outlook.com/outlook-forum/index.p... often happens if 1) you scan outgoing messages with an antivirusscanner. Don't, not only does it cause problems, but it's unnecessary andcan never catch anything and 2) your server timeout value is too low.

-- We ran into the same problem with Outlook 2007 / 2003 / Express. Ittypically occurs with larger file attachments. If the "server timeout" valuein Outlook is set to the default, the 'send' function well enter a repetitiveloop if the process is delayed, e.g. By a slow response from the emailserver, a poor wireless connection, a large file attachment, a large distrolist or the time required for an AV scan.

One of our users, for example, sent an email with a 4Mb attachment --Outlook 2007 delivered 42 copies to the recipient, filling up his emailaccount. Needless to say, the client wasn't happy. Then 20 "rejected"copies were returned to her email box -- which also filled up!

The best workaround is to set the 'server timeout' to 5+ minutes if you havea fast connection -- or more if the connection is slow, e.g. For portablesused by salespeople, with shaky airport WiFi links. To set this, open youremail account, pick "More Options", then the "Advanced" tab. We have documented this bug with Outlook 2007, 2003 and Express (withvarious patch levels, up to the most recent), running primarily on XP.

Theversion of email server doesn't make any difference, e.g. Exchange, Unix,ISP, etc. Sources: Various sources .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
