My parents frown upon the idea of Online Schooling but they don't know I siffer anxiety and depression?

You reminded me of myself a little. I hated going to school so the first time I asked for online school, my parents said no. Why?

They didn't think I would do my work. But after a lot of thinking it over, they finally agreed to it. I don't have schizophrenia, but I do have OCD and a learning disability.

My OCD is so bad that the medications I've been given, hardly helps. Therapy didn't do any good either. My OCD at home followed me to school.

(Example: After washing my hands I have to make sure the sink is off. I count to 4 four times. I leave and go check it again because I wasn't sure if I checked it right.) I did this at home and at school.

So every time I got done using the schools bathroom, I went back to my classroom and 3 minutes later I was asking to go again. They eventually realized it was my OCD and they gave me unlimited bathroom privileges. Because of this, it was harder to concentrate on what was being taught in the classroom.

I left so many times that I had no idea what it was I was suppose to do. This is where online school helped a lot. Everything I needed to know was on the computer.

It wasn't going anywhere, I could view it any time and won't miss anything. In public school I would miss a lot because I always left during the teachers instructions. I wasn't there so I couldn't take any notes either.

But on the computer I had all the notes I needed. I can refer back to my online schoolining at any time 24/7. Online school let's you make your own schedule.

You never feel rushed and it takes off a lot of stress. It also saved my parents money by not having to buy all the school supplies for projects. Online school you can review all of your work and re-watch the learning videos.

(Unlike going to a public school where you only watch it once with the whole class) making a presentation is a great idea. Be sure to explain why you want to and why you should. Sorry I wrote so much, but I hoped a little by sharing my experience.

If your parents still say no you can always ask "Could I at least try it? And if it doesn't work out I can always go back to my original school." I found online schooling fun, so I did all my work (surprised my parents by actually doing it) my parents also explained my learning disability to the teachers and they did excellent with helping me pass all my classes.

I wish you best of luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
