I recommend iFixit.com. They have a section that helps you correctly identify which model Mac you have, provide you with links to parts you will need, and best of all are its videos that show you step by step how to take apart and replace parts.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
