I had that happen once. Click and drag it to the bottom. If it doesn't work the first time, do it again.

That's my 'default' position. In fact, I believe that was the intention of the original programmers because when you place it there, you can access several things better:1) You can actually see the clock and date!2) You can have many more programs open and see them listed on the taskbar easily without the need to 'stack' them or '^' them.3) The start menu behaves the way it was intended without collapsing all the time after you perform functions. Now that everyone is getting WS monitors, there's plenty of room to show it this way, and expand it to show more title info if you wish.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
