My toilet won't stop filling itself in the upper tank. How do I fix this? When I looked into the upper tank I noticed that the stopper in the bottom was getting good suction.

The valve can usually be adjusted The valve that the "balloon thing" (called the float) is attached to can usually be adjusted with a screw driver to shut off the water at a lower level. If it is broken, then the whole valve must be replace. If it is an older float at the end of a long metal arm, the arm can usually be bent down gently so that the float is lower in the tank.

Make sure you can shut the water off to the toilet before you attempt to fix this. It is common to make mistake and break something, and then water is spraying everywhere. I hope this helps.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
