Check the electric wiring on the overdrive switch. Yes you can drive it without overdrive, but its much nicer to have it working if you want to use the truck for a long trip. But round town, on the farm and using a plow no overdrive no problem.
Then take it for a test drive up to 60mph and see if it will go in to overdrive. But if it waits until 60 to go into overdrive its got a problem best to get a few repair quotes before you buy the truck-you may even be able to get the dealer to give you a better deal I got the same truck and I work as a mechanic on a farm in New Zealand and they are a very good truck.
Try pushing it one time. PS: 6.0 have a big problem with the turbos. Maybe that is the reason for the good deal your getting.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
