I've had a problem connecting a Kindle to a password protected wifi network too. I haven't been able to long on with one, but I have open networks where I work and on the train, so I haven't given it much thought. But I haven't been able to sign into a passworded connection at home.

I have the same problem. They say that some units have had problems doing that. I am having a second unit sent.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
