MySQL JOIN around subquery result?

You can join your tables together with a subquery that selects the latest bid date for each product.

Doing it inside one SQL query might be tough, but I have this proposal. Select the maximum date from product_bids first, then make a second query like this.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
