MySQL Query - Count Number of Records that Don't Reference Themselves?

SELECT ID FROM YourTable t1 LEFT JOIN YourTable t2 on t1. ID = T2. Nearest WHERE t2.ID is null.

Another way: SELECT * FROM YourTable WHERE ID NOT IN (SELECT DISTINCT NEAREST FROM YourTable).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
