MySQL's InnoDB - avoid flushing log buffer for a single transaction?

I think the answer is that it can't be done.

If anybody knows better, please add your answer. I can change my accepted answer. – thomasrutter Jul 25 at 5:07.

I'm not sure if this will do exactly what you want, but check out INSERT DELAYED.

Unfortunately InnoDB doesn't have INSERT DELAYED. I guess I have the option of using MyISAM for that one table, so thanks, but I was wanting to know if there was an InnoDB solution. – thomasrutter Jul 22 at 2:39 Sorry, I should have noticed that you're using InnoDB.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
