It has to depend on the product. Food is what you like. I don't think Walmart jeans are as good as Levi's.
Medicines are all the same. Milk is the same. Walmart furniture is not as good as name brand.Gh end expensive electronics I would stick with name brand.
And etc. , etc.. So it has to do with the product and with certain products the support that comes after you buy it.
I'm usually a store brand kind of person. There are precious few items that I have to have the name brand of. One that I can think of is cottage cheese.
I'm fond of the breakstone brand. Others just are too watery or bland. So I have a few other items that I'm sure I get just because I think the brand is better than others.
I'm always willing to try the offbrand and if I don't like it then I go back to a name that I like.

I usually do buy brand names. I think that is because I'm just used to them and afraid to waste my money on a store brand not being any good. Some things it really don't matter though.
Prescription medicines that are generic are said to be just as good as name brands. However, some things, like toilet paper and paper towels, I won't buy the store brand because most are sub-standard and you just have to use more of the product to get what you want. :-).
99% of the time, store brands work great. They don't look the same, but they function exactly how they're supposed to. I'm always weirded out when I go shopping and I see people buying all name brand products.
Are they scared to try Thrifty Maid cleaning supplies, Equal asprin, or Market Pantry cranberry juice? They're all just fine, and save you money! My only exception to the above would be: - tampons (the generic brands have plain cardboard applicators with no grip, which don't work unless you're 100% dry, which is extremely hard to do when you're LEAKING) - Crystal Lite (mostly, generic brand is great - lemonade and some fruity drinks are really yummy, but you just can't find a generic "cherry pomegranate") - pizza (I'm not a fan of Walmart generic brand pizza - they don't have as many options, and their crust isn't as good, so Digiorno all the way).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
