Ammonia poisoning. Ammonia is toxic to fish and when it builds up in the tank it burns them. Turning black indicates this.
You should do a large water change and buy a test kit for your water.
All gold fish are a bronze colour when they are fry, only heating the water midly produces any colour, some fish lose some of the colour again as they age. Some fish also have black aswell as red/orange/gold/silver colouring, does it have any black anywhere else-r. E tips of fins /tail.
If not, just keep an eye on it for a week, make sure its living conditions are healthy and if in doubt consult an expert-not just a normal vet,but someone who either breeds/sells goldfish commercially. I wouldnt worry too much, they are quite hardy and a little discolouration is normal in my experience. Check the edge of your fish's gill openings-any sign of disease is usually evident there.
Hope it keeps swimming along for you.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
