Name some bands everyone seems to like that you've tried to like, but couldnt get into no matter what you did?

Kid Congo & the Pink Monkey Birds, haha Mekons 13th Floor Elevators The Toasters The Gutter Twins.

I only have one that I can recall right now: Violent Femmes. Its a cool name and I thought it was a band of women at first so I was more excited about that, but finding out they're a (kind of?) punk band (which is probably my favorite genre of rock) was even better. I can definitely say its easier for me to write off a band depending on their name than for me to like a band solely because of that.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
