A lot of the Internet Security software has options to control site access for children. You could use one of these, because they get updated as the sites move around. For example, the current version of Norton Internet Security works on Windows XP and has a downloadable addon that includes Norton parental Control, which blocks access to web sites not suitable for children.

Older versions of Norton Internet Security work on other versions of Windows and on Mac. McAfee and others have similar products. I used the Norton version for years with my children, and they are very granular with respect to the type of sites that you allow or not allow.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
