The client won't know the difference either way. Generally I imagine you would use RedirectToAction to pass the control to Controller B and then the action on Controller B would return the JSON result, no different than if that action were called directly.

Perfect time to extract functionality from ControllerB to a separate class/method.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
