Netbeans JLabel Icon/Text Does not Display when Project is Built?

Try running a clean and build (Run > Clean and Build Main Project). The NetBeans ant scripts do not track the fact that your class file has a dependency on the resource files, so when the class is compiled, it is copied to build/classes (and from there to the jar), but the resources are not.

Thanks that worked. I thought I tried that before(I guess I hit only the Build button). – Theopile Apr 29 '10 at 17:10 This was the same issue I was having with the menus.

The IDE-generated menus use text stored in resource files as well. Thanks. – Bill the Lizard?

The reason : Invalid Image path...Please use path relative to your project folder. (IDE may caches the image) Instesd of specifying full path Ex : c:/User/Project/Myapp/src/apple. Png Use relative path to paticular class file Ex : src/apple.png.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
