A Savage Axis is cheap and anything center fire will kill the average hog. 75-150 lbs, I have some in my woods that will top 250 or more lbs Bigger ammo is suggested but not an absolute must. My neighbor buys very high dollar night vision and gets a kill that could have been made with no sights or light.
The bottom price and minimum expense to get a hog at night is a Savage Axis with a strobe light along with a red dot LASER. OH Yes you can see the animal AND the red dot in near total darkness. The range may not be as some wish but those hog eyes will shine and you can tell that it is a hog....if one cannot... then they should stay at home at night and leave the night kills to the experienced.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
