GTX 260. HD5770 is more on par with the GTS 250. However, the HD 5770 does support DX11, though its not powerful enough to take advantage of DX11 unless in a crossfire configuration (Scott is full of $hit).
At this time there are only a few DX11 games out and to actually utilize DX11 you really do need more than one of these cards or the performance hit is severe. GTX 260 & GTS 250 do not support DX11.
The 5770 and the GTX 260 trade punches performance wise...The 5770 is in between a 4850 and a 4870...The 5770 draws less power and runs cooler and supports dx11 and in most cases the 5770 is cheaper in price.... http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2010-... I have owned the 4850,4870 and the 5770 and saw no big difference in performance playing games like MW2 and BFBC2 all on high settings..And you do not need to run 5770's in crossfire to make dx11 work better. That is not true at all.....I ran 2 5770's in Crossfire and there very fast as they scale well....There as fast/never faster than a 5870..(Which I run now). But with running crossfire its not always the best to run as you have compatibility issues and some games(older mostly)do not even support crossfire... So you cant go wrong with the 5770,it has a lot of advantages over the older GTX 260 and your not losing much,if any performance..... Scott.
I'd have to go with the 5770. DX11 and it has one of the best price/performance ratios ive seen.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
