Mine is a mental issue, that has lead to a serious set of physical symptoms. But it started with the mental issues around food, comfort, dealing with stress and now its like an irresistible compulsion to eat. Like an addiction.

Mine is physical. When I was 10 years old, I developed a disease called "Hidradenitis Supperativa" Big fancy word for wounds that never heal. 35 years later, I still have the same condition...only worse.

They are located in my Groin/Buttocks/and Inner and outer labia. I am not allowed to exercise my lower body, or the wounds will stretch and bleed. I can only exercise my upper body, but that does not help me much.

Weight loss is difficult without exercise. Should I also consider it a mental disease? Probably, because my disease drives me crazy....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
