Obtaining an exotic pet owning license in South Carolina?

Obtaining an exotic pet owning license in South Carolina. I'm planning on purchasing a Siberian Lynx at some point in my life and I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find the right information about licenses. I'm aware that I need a license to own an exotic but don't know how to go about getting one.

You might be surprised -- you may not need a license for the pet you are talking about --- look on the web for your state veterinarians office -- they will be able to tell you if south carolina requires a special permit --- I would also check with the usda web sight to see about federal permits ---- lastly make sure you have a veterinarian that will see and treat the cat before you aquire it --- I have people that come to me from 2 or 3 states away just because they can't find a local vet to treat exotics --- its best to know where you are going ahead of time .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
