Ok, I am doing this again: Do you think that this character is a Gary Stew (male version of a Mary Sue)?

Nah. Ugly romantic characters will never be a hit.

As much as I hate to say it, I'm going to have to agree with you. I just can't imagine wanting to read about some guy that, well let's be serious, that I didn't want myself lol. I actually recently read something kind of like that thought however.

One of the mains guys that the female lead will probably end up with is not described in a way that I would want. Physically he doesn't sound bad but not great, basically it's something you could overlook but to me he comes off as a wimp. Even though the author tries to describe him as strong, all of the actions in the book seem to say otherwise and that you'd be the one taking care of him.

I ended up liking the series a lot but what got me through was the other guy who she probably won't end up with, sigh. Ha ha.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
