I don't know if you're referring to a specific situation, or are giving a purely hypothetical scenario. So I'll give you a generic answer. In the United States at least, it would be unconstitutional for a school to prohibit students from wearing personal religious symbols like a cross necklace.
Well...at least so long as the religious accommodation is "reasonable" - a giant two foot wooden cross simply wouldn't do. The ACLU has successfully defended the reasonable rights of public school students to wear personal religious symbols: https://www.aclu.org/aclu-defense-religi... And I agree that were a school to ban cross necklaces and other religious symbols, but allow a hijab, that would be discriminatory. In France, all "conspicuous" religious symbols are banned in public schools as a violation of state secularity.
But at least they are consistent in that hijabs are part of the ban: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_law...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
