Ok so getting a fresh water aquarium what are some easy fish they get along?

You should check out "Glofish", they are really cool. They are actually zebra fish, which have been genetically engineered with jellyfish genes to give them different colors and the ability to glow. Aside from the cool colors, they are just like ordinary zebra fish, and are very hardy, making them easy to take care of.

They are also schooling fish, so they get along fine with others. They are affordable, ranging from about 5-7 dollars each. I have a few of them myself!

About the snails, they should get along with most fish. I have an aquatic frog that lives with my glofish, and they get along fine.

If I where you I would go with a 20 gallon. Some fish you could put in are... -5+ Tetras (same kind) -5+ Glofish -5+ Guppies -5+ Mollies -5+ Platys -3+ Hatchet fish -5+ Cory catfish -4+ Barbs -2+ Dwarf/honey sunset gouramis -1+ Female betta -Snails -Ghost shrimp -3+ Sword tails -3+ ScissorTails Obviously not all of those in the same tank. But if I where you don't get a gold fish.

I didn't put platys or guppies in because they're an overused fish. And I put the betta in everyone because you have to feel bad for them when they're in a little cup! But only females, and you could make a female community tank if you want.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
