You can't lump all teachers into one entity, just as all students can't be lumped together. So lets get particular. You always get in trouble for asking why in certain situations because your behavior is so outlandish and disruptive that the teacher cannot believe you are that stupid.
So, they perceive it as more backtalk, which it is. Don't try to tell us you didn't know you were talking, even we don't think you are that stupid. What you are is a immature child that doesn't get that school is for learning and not to win a stupidity contest.
I suggest you look at your behavior and see if it is age appropriate.
Asking explanation about the topic for more knowledge is good. But asking explanation for all topics at the time of class will disturb your teacher and he lost the concentration. So he took the decision.
You can ask the explanation after class or at any interval time. Then teachers answer it , no any doubt.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
