Similar questions: DVD players Divx play avi file disc flash drive.
It won't play any file My DVD player can handle Divx and Xvid files burned to DVD or CD up to certain resolutions, I believe 720x576 is the max mine will handle. It's possible some handle higher resolutions. Also, mine won't support files that are encoded with the Qpel option and there are a few other restrictions, but it's going to depend on the specific player. An AVI could also use any number of codecs that aren't supported, though most AVIs you find these days are either Divx or Xvid.
So, if your player has a flash drive, it should be able to play files either burned to disc or off the flash drive as long as the files fall within the specific specs supported by your player. I hope that answers your question! Sources: My experience .
Most are avi's on a DVD but some offer USB connectivity Most DivX players that you will come across will play DivX encoded avi's on CD/DVD only. One of the best of this lot is the Phillips DVP-5140. It plays pretty much everything, all the standard CD/DVD/DVD+-R/RW/JPG... as well as avi's on disc, from DivX to XviD, all for about $40.
Next up is the Phillips DVP-5960. It has all of the features of the 5140, but offers 1080i upscaling, which is great if you have a 1080i HDTV, and USB connectivity, which means that you can attach a USB thumb/flash drive and play the files from there. It will also play from USB-attached hard drives. It runs about $60.
Finally, there's the Phillips DVP-5982. It's pretty much the same as the 5960, but instead of 1080i upscaling, it will do a full 1080p upscaling, great for 720p or 1080p HDTVs.It runs at about $70 and it's black, as opposed to the silver of the other models. Right about now you may be wondering why I have only recommended Phillips DVD players.
The Phillips players are the best reviewed with the greatest amount of features and compatibility for the lowest price. You could go with an Oppo, which provides excellent audio, but run at least $200-300. DVD players with "DivX Ultra" are much newer than the DivX 3.0 or 4.0 and will play many more files.
DivX Ultra is usually 5.0 or 6.0, which is what most avi files are now encoded in. Sources: Opinion .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
