Answer go to the doctor IMMEDIATeLY. Drop your chow mein, get in the car, and drive to the emergency room. This could be a miscarrage, and you need to have a doctor with you through one of those answer DON'T PANIC.
Sadly it does sound as though you may be having a miscarriage, about 40% of women have had one. If you feel all right with it and you have support at home you can stay at home, but at 8 weeks you may feel better going to the hospital.
