On the schedule of classes I see things like LC, PNET, FNET, LATE and ASAP under the section column. What do these mean?

ASAP stands for the Accelerated Study in Associate Programs and is only open to ASAP students. If you are not part of ASAP, you can not register for that specific section. LC stands for Learning Community.

It is a course that is linked to another class or classes. In order to take that section, you must register for and take the courses they are linked to, which should be noted on the schedule of classes. In a learning community, all the students in one class will be the same in the other classes.

Also, your teachers will be working together, and may give you shared reading or assignments. However, make sure all the classes that are linked are courses you have not already taken and are in your major before registering for them. PNET is a partially on line class.

Much of the work in done on line, and only part of the class is held on campus. Students who choose to register for a partially on line class should be computer literate and follow any directions noted on the schedule of ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
