Pain Relief For Dogs? Is there pain relief available for dogs? Not as a substitute for the vet?

I have a middle aged cocker spaniel, he has days when he seems slower than others, like he is in pain or maybe just achy. I give him a massage with my fingertips all over. Leg joints, sides, belly, neck, and such and he seems to enjoy it and he responds well after I am done.

Slow gentle movements with my fingers moving in circles. He moves much better after his massage than he did before. I have also encouraged him to drink small amounts of warm honey water with tumeric.

This has been proven as a pain reliever in dogs. About a cup of warm water with a tablespoon of honey and just a pinch of tumeric. I do not particularly like to use drugs, either dog or human pain relievers with him, because each dog has a different response to chemicals dependent on body weight and size.

With dogs I have found homeopathic is better.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
