You start the Rails app by running the webserver, not rails c Nginx, for example, will then load the Passenger module which will run your Rails app as needed. So, startup Nginx or Apache and you should be good to go.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
