Password missing, cannot get mail, yahoo server unavailable messages on my iphone and ipad?

Try this: on the problem device/s, open the web browser and login to mail.yahoo.com. Log in as normal and complete that. Come back to your Settings and re-add the account or re-enter the password.

Should work now. You need to do this for each device.

I did not realize that changing my password would create such havoc. It should be easier to update my account on my ipad. Deleting my account and then adding a new account worked.

But it should be easier. There should be an option to update my password on my ipad without all the confusion. I was without email for 3 days, because I did not realize what the issue was.

A pop up or message saying I need to sign into my account would have saved me a lot of time, energy and effort.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
