Paul, clearly was misunderstood, as 2 Peter 3:14- 17 shows. Did Paul teach that Jesus was God?

Paul rightfully teaches that Jesus is the SON of Almighty God and Jesus teaches that: "I and the Father are one. " This is God's truth. Further God mself declares Jesus as s Son when Jesus is Baptized by John the Baptist.
