Persisting JSF2 Composite Component value?

That's because you used a plain HTML input element instead of a fullworthy JSF input component like h:inputText . This way the value is in no way bound to the JSF context. It's only treated as plain vanilla template output value, not as input value.

A composite component isn't going to solve this. You really need to create a fullworthy UIComponent for this (or to look for a 3rd party component library which has already done the nasty job for you, such as PrimeFaces with its p:slider ).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
