There is no charge as long as the transfer is done within one year from the date of the original microchip enrollment. For Chip FurKeeps shelters, the transfer is done the same way as a new microchip enrollment—either online or by calling the dedicated toll-free enrollment number. The new adopter will assume the remainder of the HomeAgain membership (e.g. , if the pet is originally enrolled by the first adopter in January and the transfer to the second adopter is done in March, the second adopter will take over the remaining nine months on the pet’s HomeAgain membership, and the microchip registration will be transferred into his/her name—all at no charge).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
