Phenom II X4 965 vs Phenom II X6 1090T?

That has far less impact overall- it greatly shortens up your Windows startup time, but that's about it. Once games are up & running, they operate primarily in RAM, accessing the hard drive to save games and load new levels but not much else. Games are coded to avoid disk access whenever possible.

Let's look at the difference (for gaming) between the 2500k and 965 BE, assuming everything else is the same. In most shooter games it wouldn't be too much, since your fps depend mostly upon the GPU anyway. I'd guess maybe 10-15% difference on average?

But in real-time strategy games like Starcraft 2, Supreme Commander and Civilization 5 it would be more significant, since fps in those titles depends mostly upon your CPU horsepower. In Just Cause 2, about a 5fps difference max, in DiRT 3 about 15fps from where we'd expect the 965 to fall (below the 980 and near the FX-6100), about 10fps in the Witcher 2... About a 7fps spread in Crysis 2. That last one is 20 percent difference but overall it seems like around 10-15 percent.

We can pretty much disregard old/easy titles like original Left 4 Dead, when you're getting 130+ fps it's all gravy. Crysis Warhead - 9 fps or approximately 10 percent. Fallout 3 - just 3fps, which is negligible.

Far Cry 2, WoW and Dragon Age Origins are more CPU-intensive than most titles, and it shows, we see 30-33 percent fps difference in those games. Fortunately Dragon Age Origins is much like L4D- your baseline fps are so high to begin with, losing a big chunk doesn't matter.

Whatever you do get the 2500k over the AMD **** all day erry day. Do not get a OCZ SSD though their so flukey half of them just fail. Get a crucial or kingston 60GB one.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
