PHP programmer vs software programmer?

I'm about to start hiring a few IT people to develop a web-based application of our start up. What kind of programmers should I be looking for? Asked by kabozzi 57 months ago Similar questions: PHP programmer software Computers > Software Development.

If so, you will need programmers experienced in both the front-end and back-end of the application development. For the front-end, you will need someone that is an expert in CSS/XHTML/Javascript/AJAX. You will probably need 1 person to do the graphic side (design all graphics and CSS-based web layout).

Then someone else to program all the AJAX code. On the back-end, you would need PHP programmers if you're using PHP, and probably SQL/mySQL programmers. That's just one scenario.

You may be planning to implement a different type of web based application, such as something with a Java server backend. Or, planning to use some of the AJAX frameworks out there like GWT, Dojo, etc... All I know is that most new web based applications need to look and feel like Web 2.0 applications. Users like the feel and interaction with these kind of websites.

They also like the intuitive, friendly, and clean website design of those types of websites. You probably will need several people just to develop and manage those aspects, because it's a lot more difficult than it sounds to create appealing, cross-browser consistent, web designs and interfaces. -CJ .

Web programmers are different from software application programmers You want to look for someone that is creative and has extensive knowledge of web technology. Having just PHP programming skills is not enough. PHP is a script, and can be learned with just using it or having to build applications.

YOu do need to make sure they understand database structure and know how to interface the two (PHP/MYSQL). This will be the most important aspect of the website. PHP programmers usually only deal wit the back-end of the websites, a graphic person or an HTML programmer will usually fine tune the site..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
