Hepatitis B is transmitted from one person to another by blood. Saliva and semen, which contain a small amount of blood, can also carry the virus. The virus can be transmitted whenever the following body fluids come in contact with a mucous membrane or broken skin (in the rectum, genital organs, in the mouth) of an uninfected person.
More than half of all persons who are infected with hepatitis virus don’t even know it and have no symptoms. If there are symptoms, they show up within 30-180 days of being exposed to the virus. The symptoms are similar to flu symptoms so many people think they just have the flu and don’t even think they have the HBV infection.
Some typical symptoms are: • Loss of appetite • Itching all over the body • Pain in the area of the liver (lower right side of the abdomen, under the lower rib cage) • Fatigue or feeling tired • Vomiting and nausea • Urine become dark in color like tea or cola • Jaundice which is a condition which the skin and the whites of a person’s eyes turn yellow in color • Stools look pale in color-clay colored or grayish One way to treat hepatitis B is to utilize self care at home. This means that a person does all they can to relieve the symptoms and not let the infection get worse. This means drinking plenty of fluids, avoiding medication such as Tylenol, do not drink alcohol, eat well enough for good nutrition, and rest.
If symptoms get worse, IVs may be required or antiviral medications.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
