Usually speaking all you need to do is what everyone else here has advised - eat fiber and drink water. (Flaxseed is great for fiber) however there are a few medications that CAUSE constipation so you probably should check all your scripts for the side effects - also some conditions - like hypothyroidism - will cause constipation. So if you still have problems - in the end - consult your physician..
Generally constipation is caused by lack of liquids (alcohol doesn't count), bad diet, ie lots of processed food and medication (some medicines can bung you up). So start by drinking lots of water each day - at least 2 pints. Perhaps drink half a pint on waking, another half a pint at bedtime and then take the second pint in a water bottle with you and sip at it all day Secondly, look at your diet - how many MacDonolds, take-outs, burgers etc are you having each week?
Cut right down on this sorts of food. Start to eat 'whole grain', so brown bread, brown pasta, oatmeal etc, rather than then white versions that is your long-term aims.. Short-term I suggest you go the pharmacy and get something over the counter which will help. I see you are only 24, so no real reason why you should be constipated!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
