You understate the acceptance of jesus christ as your personal savior to the point of banality. The number one factor in accepting christ is the earnest desire to repent. This is by definition impossible with the mindset that you are "cheating the system".

Saying a few words and jumping in a puddle won't save you on principle alone. You need to honestly repent, confess, and believe not just "pretend". The sad fact is, most "christians" have not truly accepted christ.

They go through the motions because their parents did it that way. True conversion involves a personal, intimate relationship with god that can't be induced with just a prayer and some H20.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
