I agree with you 100%...and there are even more accomplishments by this amazing "mutt" of a man, Barack Obama, that we chose to lead this nation to safety, strength, and prosperity. Early last year, remember, he called all the credit card company executives to the White House for a summit, and then created his Credit CARD Act of 2009 (passed in both House and Senate and now law) that eliminates predatory fees or shady billing practices. As part of the health care "repair" he also got REFORMS for the 1300 greed-driven for-profit insurance companies (details available on whitehouse.gov).

As part of his repaired relations with Russia, he SUCCEEDED in getting Russian President Medvedev to sign with the U.S. the New START Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (a 30% reduction in Russia's and the U.S.'s extensive nuclear arsenals, etc.), and this included the foundation for a BRILLIANT strategy towards getting both Iran and N. Korea to think twice before continuing to pursue developing of any nuclear weapons programs: "The United States will NOT use nuclear weapons against any nation that does not have nuclear weapons." People UNDERESTIMATE President Obama's intelligence.

After the clause of the New START Treaty was included, the president convened and hosted a 46-nation Nuclear Weapons Threat SUMMIT in Washington D.C. and convinced several nations to give the U.S. their weapons-grade materials for processing down to fuel-grade (Ukraine, for one). This is an amazing accomplishment, with no bells or whistles, no fanfare...just quietly achieved by President Obama in ways that make this world and our nation SAFER! Shortly after the summit, if you recall, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was assigned to give a "summary" of this weapons-threat summit to the UN General Assembly, wherein she happened to mention that the U.S. has "5,900 nuclear missiles"...lol...scaring the beejeebees out of the fledgling nuclear-power-wannabes with their less than ten arsenals!

BRILLIANT! President Obama IS already the greatest president this nation has ever had---and he has achieved all of this with the teabagging evangelicals' mindless attacks and racial slus, the birthers nonsense, Faux's fake "news" and blister-bloat Beck's distortions or hype and hyperbole, white suppremacists' ugliness, Republicans' NO in both House and Senate to play king-of-the-Hill with Americans' lives and futures, ... Like I said before, AMAZING MAN! America is truly BLESSED to have him as our leader in this GOP-caused troubled times!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
