I will give the best answer possible so listen up: Black Ops is definitely better in a variety of ways First of all, the campaign in Black Ops is in every way better than MW2, you play as one character therefore giving him more personalization than the three character setup that is unreasonably confusing. Black Ops has more high quality story as you go through the levels, the prison level will arouse unknown emotions after seeing the real life photos of horrors of being in prison for years. The campaign is the same length but Black Ops feels more focused as it follows one special character, and you actually WANT to find out what happens (it's through Halo ODST-like flashback set-up) instead of the MW2 crap where Makarov doesn't die and you kill someone you don't really hate.
BUT OF COURSE, multiplayer is what everyone wants, good thing that's better too! I really like the new money system as it really puts the power in YOUR hands. If you don't snipe WHY THE HELL WOULD U WANT THAT NEW M21EBR?
Exactly, you DONT want it. Instead, buy that flamethrower you always wanted for your beloved FAMAS; or finally getting the long awaited minigun. This makes you choose and make the game suit how you want to play.
Also, attachments are ALL available from the beginning (supposing you have the cash) allowing you to buy the attachments you want. Want the ACOG sight? No more getting 150 frickin kills to unlock it, instead of getting all the crap u'll never use, buy what you want and save up your money!
The new Wager Matches may just be the best addition ever. However balancing issues in there make the "amateur" group of people excluded from such fantastic fun. Gambling is one of the best things invented, and without the risk of losing REAL money it makes it all the better.
Best of all, if your internet stops or if you don't have internet at all, you can play a "bot-filled" multiplayer version called combat training, a small but welcome feature, and the deal breaker for others. The maps are also varied and the graphics are more "war-like" instead of "playground-like," coff coff Favela, what the FK was the playground all about?!. The maps are more "killzone" than "MW2," making it more tense and graphically impressive.
Also the maps are designed to prevent camping, therefore there will be a WHOLE LOT LESS FRUSTRATION AND CONTROLLER/TV BREAKING! Two bad things, however, is that Black Ops servers are in its early stages, which means you will host migrate and get logged off a LOT more than MW2, but within one week it will be history. The other is that shotguns are now primary like they are in previous Cods.
This pretty much guarantees MW2 as a better choice for shotgun lovers, but hey, learn to play like a man! Well there are two separate and completely different features in both MW2 and Black Ops that are set aside from the regular campaign and multiplayer; the co-op component. Personally, I like the Spec Ops idea a whole lot better than zombie mode.
Unfortunately, most of them are so stale and boring (at times too hard) for most players to approach, lest play with random ppl online. I tell u, Spec Ops without a partner kills the experience, and there are no "partners" online playing spec ops mw2. Instead, I've played through eight straight zombie modes with ACTUAL PEOPLE!
This is not hype peoples, it's pure fun. Go play World At War Nazi Zombies and you'll see what I mean. I would love it if someone is playing Spec Ops every second of day like the MW2 Multiplayer, but unfortunately it's just not priority for MW2 players.
Zombie mode has something that just makes people come back for it. Well, if you REALLY had to make a choice, get Black Ops, as it will only get better, and it's ALREADY better than MW2. MW2 is in NO MEANS a bad game, but u'll see me (and millions of others) enjoying Black Ops more.
My KDR for MW2 is .64 (I sucked in the beginning) and Black Ops is 1.8 should tell you how campy and cheap MW2 is. Killstreaks are less fun in Black Ops (lest the RC Kart) however, but still guarentees the best fun possible for an online game. BOTTOM LINE: Black Ops, trust me, no one who supports mw2 has this much dedication and support for their arguement.
I only play for multiplayer, so I gotta stick with MW2.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
